The Sustainable University of Graz consists of many committed individuals and groups. At the university, cooperation in the area of sustainability is promoted within and outside the university and sustainability is communicated.

Environmental Management Department

The Department of Environmental Management deals with and is the point of contact for many sustainability and environmental issues at the University of Graz. In addition to the EMAS environmental management system, it plays a key role in the ICM and the Sustainability Day. An updated version of the environmental statement is also prepared and published annually.
