Initiatives and programs
The barrier-free university, the advancement of women, diversity management and the promotion of work-life balance are just a few examples of social sustainability within the university. The university is committed to sustainability in various initiatives.
In 2016, the Conflict - Peace - Democracy Cluster was established, which cooperates nationally with the Austrian Study Center for Peace and Conflict Resolution at Schlaining Castle, the Vienna Democracy Center and the Institute for Conflict Research and combines approaches from disciplines such as law, political science, international relations, social sciences, philosophy, psychology, cultural studies, anthropology and many more. The Conflict, Peace and Democracy Policy Blog, which is based here, combines academic expertise with practical recommendations for action. In addition, numerous projects have been and are being carried out.
